Cabin Fever

Cabin fever has set in after 4 days of school being out. I just love chevron prints and was trying to be thrifty as well. I created these black and white chevron canvases to hang in our breakfast area. I painted them without using painter's tape, so they aren't perfect, but I think that's what makes them even more unique.

sNOw Kidding

The weather had been forecasting snow for the past week, but as usual I just take it with a grain of salt. They were right about that blizzard we had on Christmas Eve 2009 and there was that time with the May 3rd tornado- still I think they blow things out of proportion most times. Good thing I made my usual weekend grocery store stop because on Tuesday morning we woke up to blowing snow and frigid temps. The boys have been out of school for four days and the roads are snow packed- we even saw the trash truck get stuck today while trying to get into our neighborhood. I have one thing to say...Thank goodness for that global warming, it's really been helping us out :P
